Candace Johanning-Gilles is a graduate of Purdue University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Counseling and Planning. After graduating from Purdue, she immediately began working in the financial services industry gaining valuable experience. She has been in the industry for over 10 years and is passionate about helping people reach their financial goals. Candace also serves as Chapter President for the American Financial Education Alliance, an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. AFEA's mission is to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing local communities with unbiased financial education.
Candace grew up in Kokomo, Indiana where her family owned and operated the Big R Fleet Supply store. She graduated from Western High School where she participated in tennis, soccer and swimming. While at Purdue, she was a member of their Water Ski Team. She and her husband, Scott, now live in Russiaville with their two young boys and their dogs.
Candace is also passionate about volunteering her time for important causes and being involved in the community. She is an active volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and she coaches soccer for the Kokomo Soccer Club.
